This is only covering what's new in Abe It V2. Download V1 for a full manual.

What are the new items? Just doors. You always walk behind them, not in front of them, for some reason - it's a fault of the program that I used to program Abe It, it's not a bug in the game. Press D to use them while you're... behind them. LOL.

Any bugfixes? Well not really - the Hidden(or crash) Screens aren't applicable to the V2 level(if you could even call it much of a level), as it's got thicker walls(the discovered cause for it - but the bug was pretty much impossible to trigger since the fix of the spacebar jump anyway - the s.p.j. bug was in version zero which was never released - it didn't have sligs in that version either, the spacebar jump was 2 pixels less distance and height, barriers that weren't turned off blocked you even though you couldn't see them on screens other than their one, and lots more). The powerjump is still in there(i'm seriously thinking of using it as a cheat - and you'll need to use in to beat the V2 level - it was something to do with the placing of the terrain causing that). And the slow slig? Also not fixed, but unless you play the V1 level with the V2 .BAS, you won't be able to notice it. Side note: you can also still get the Hidden/Crash Screens by playing the V1 level in the V2 .BAS. Just like you can also get the Barrier Push. And there is absolubtly no errors playing V1 levels in V2 except the ones that happen in V1 as well. Abe It levels are completly compatible with versions from the one it came in and later(and even the older ones, the objects from the newer versions just won't appear - try running the V2 level in V1 and you'll get the levers, barriers, slogs and abe - but no doors).

What about the new levels? Any 'first two screen' walkthroughs or anything? Nope, no walkthrough. After all, it's hard to even call it a level - it's just one screen. If you want more levels, get V1(if you don't already have it) or wait for an expansion pack. Or even better, both. Remember, you won't have to pay a cent, a dollar or anything else to get any Abe It version. They're all free.

Oh yeah, were you expecting a level editor? I can only say four words about that - you're not getting one. However, if you think you have a really good idea for a level, e-mail it to me at Talvetails@hotmail.com with the following as attachments(put them into one zip please):

The BMP files for each screen - the background and the playing area. Please only use BMPs - if the file is too big for you to send, send it in multiple e-mails(please only up to 3 e-mails though). And then, a text file listing where enemies and items go. It's up to you exactly how you want to state this, but make it readable! Here's the layout of the screens(you don't have to use all the screens):

[15][14] [13] [12][11]
[10][09][08] [07][06]
[05][04][03][02][01]

You always start on Screen 1, but you can start anywhere on it. You can only have four of the same thing on one screen. To do a hoist place, just have a 1 pixel thick horizontal line, sort of like this(attached though):
          ______
[Block] 1P Line

He can go about 50 pixels. Doing a spacebar jump goes up 27(27 is the highest point I mean), the length is 52 pixels. The limit of how many items/enemies you can have is four OF THE SAME TYPE. So you could have 3 Slogs and 4 Sligs. You could also have 2 Levers, 2 Barriers, 3 Doors, Abe, 2 Sligs and a slog. However you couldn't have 6 Slogs. Any more questions, just e-mail.
